In order to maintain an eco-friendly production model, we're extremely careful to avoid overstocking (a practice that plagues today’s fashion industry). With the exception of a few sale items, all of our garments can be easily made to order if not already in stock - we ask that you please allow 7-14 days for the piece to be manufactured and shipped, and it will arrive within 4-8 business days post-shipment.
We also listen closely to the needs and wishes of our customers, and do our best to ensure their favorite items come back in stock as quickly as possible!
For best results, we recommend spot cleaning or hand washing your ikat garments in cold water, and then hang drying them to avoid shrinkage. They can also be machine washed on delicate cycle, but this may result in a small amount of shrinkage. Iron or steam on low heat.
For silk blends, please dry clean only. For wrinkles, steam on low heat or iron the garment inside out on low heat. Do NOT iron directly on the gold foil screen print.
We proudly manufacture all of our garments in Chicago, IL.
We source our ikat cottons from artisans in Pochampally, India, which is located near the large city of Hyderabad in the southern part of the country. Pochampally has an incredibly rich history of weaving ikat textiles, and our cottons are created with AZO-free dyes.
The tussar silk we source comes from the area of Bhagalpur in Northeast India, near India's border with Bangladesh and located on the southern banks of the Ganges river.
Handcrafted textiles may occasionally reveal small pattern irregularities due to the intricacy and skill required during the creation process. We believe these irregularities add to the beauty and character of these fabrics.
We currently do not have a storefront, but we do occasionally host trunk shows and pop-up events. Please join our mailing list or follow us @shopbhav to stay up to date on upcoming events!
